Sunchang ITS has been growing up as a furniture maker harmonized with nature over the past 50 years.
1959 - Established the corporation
1967 - Established and began to operate the Lumbermill factory and the Plywood factory.
1969 - Got started in exporting plywood, established and began to operate the factory for wood flooring.
1970 - Acquired the KS mark (plywood, steam-dried wood flooring)
1973 - Established Sun Furniture factory, Began manufacturing
1976 - Carried out initial public offering, listed stocks
1980 - Completed the construction of Head office Building
1985 - Completed the construction of Seoul Office and Furniture Showroom.
1991 - Integrated the business brand of Sunwood through CIP works. Changed the brand Sun Furniture to Sunwood
1993 - Established and began to operate the production lines for architectural furniture, office furniture, hardboard at Ansan Business Division
1994 - Established MDF Business Division
1995 - Completed and began to operate MDF Factory, Acquired the ISO9001 certification for Sunwood furniture
2003 - Established Sunchang ITS Co Ltd ( based on the separation of the enterprise )
2005 - Set up the Production Planning System (APS)
2006 - Set up the enterprise-wide resource management (ERP)
2007 - Launched wood fire door ( A-Level: 60 minute fire-resist test ), Established and began to operate the local subsidiary in Cheongdo, China ( Cheongdo-Sunchang Wood Industry Co. Ltd )
2008 - Established the local subsidiary in Vietnam ( Sunwood Vina )
Established the local subsidiary in Cambodia ( Sunchangits Cambodia )
2009 - Constructed the MES, design automation system, and being selected as the Excellence Business in Small & Medium Informatization ( Small & Medium Business Administration / Korea technology and information promotion agency for Small and Medium Enterprise )
